Seminar | Palliative Care and Disabilities: Impact of legislation to improve quality of life and realise human rights
People with a disability at end of life may need support in making decisions in relation to their care planning. This can include people with dementia, intellectual disability, serious mental illness, neurological conditions or some forms of cancer. Laws are in place in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland to ensure people have a right to support in making these decisions.
