Palliative Care Research Network Symposia
The Annual Palliative Care Research Network Symposium offers researchers opportunities to learn from global experts, share and exchange knowledge and network with peers. Information about the 2024 Symposium can be found below, programmes for past events can be found at the bottom of the page.
Introduction
The All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care (AIIHPC) 13th Annual Palliative Care Research Network Symposium was held in the Long Gallery, Stormont, Belfast on 14 November 2024. The theme of the symposium was on psychological, social and spiritual care. It was an all day, in person event that comprised of speakers, panel sessions and poster presentations. The event was supported by the Health Research Board, Health and Social Care R&D Division, Public Health Agency and Health Service Executive (HSE).
Audience
There were 92 participants from the island of Ireland and internationally including members of the Palliative Care Research Network (PCRN) and Early Career Researcher Forum (ECRF), health and social care professionals, service providers, policymakers, charity representatives, and Voices4Care members.
