Knowledge Transfer and Exchange

AIIHPC is an established knowledge broker for palliative care on the island of Ireland and is in a unique position to unlock the potential of our Palliative Care Research Network members’ research to reach palliative care providers, health agencies, hospices, academic institutions, charity organisations and people with life-limiting conditions and their families, carers and interested citizens (through Voices4Care).

We support our members to disseminate research messages, knowledge and findings across the research cycle, from proposal to conclusion and beyond, to develop:

A knowledge transfer exchange strategy and plan using the peer-reviewed knowledge transfer and exchange model EMTReK; eLearning ‘Developing a Dissemination Strategy for Health Research’ (CPD approved); Useful playlist of 3 videos on EMTReK
Project surveys, participant recruitment adverts, development of social media handle(s) and project logos
Meaningful engagement with people with life-limiting conditions, families, and interested citizens through AIIHPC Voices4Care group
Understanding of research and findings with other researchers, health and social care professionals and public through a project web page, blogs, podcasts, webinars, and publications on the Palliative Hub Professional research zone
Impact with clinical networks, hospice and palliative care education providers, condition focussed organisations, academic institutions, expert collaborators and our member organisations
